Privacy Policy
Last Updated: March 15, 2025
At NextEvolveHub, we take your privacy seriously. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you interact with our corporate finance educational platform.
We're committed to transparency. If something here doesn't make sense, reach out and we'll clarify. This document is designed to comply with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) while maintaining clear communication with our global community of finance professionals.
1 Information We Collect
We collect information in a few different ways, depending on how you use our platform. Here's what we typically gather:
Account and Registration Data
When you sign up for our courses or create an account, we ask for basic details like your name, email address, phone number, and professional background. We might also collect information about your company, job title, and areas of interest in corporate finance.
| Data Type | Purpose | Legal Basis |
|---|---|---|
| Name and Contact Info | Account creation, communication | Contract performance |
| Professional Details | Course customization, networking | Legitimate interest |
| Payment Information | Processing enrollment fees | Contract performance |
| Learning Progress | Track completion, issue certificates | Contract performance |
Usage and Technical Data
Like most websites, we automatically collect certain technical information. This includes your IP address, browser type, device information, and how you navigate through our platform. We use this data to improve our service and understand which resources are most valuable to our community.
- Device and browser specifications for compatibility testing
- Page views and click patterns to optimize course layout
- Time spent on different modules to refine content delivery
- Geographic location (country and city level only) for regional insights
- Referral sources to understand how people find us
2 How We Use Your Information
We're not in the business of selling your data. Everything we collect serves a specific purpose related to delivering quality education and improving your learning experience.
Primary Uses:
Your information helps us deliver course materials, send relevant updates about your programs, process payments, and provide support when you need it. We also use aggregated data to understand trends and improve our curriculum.
More specifically, we use your information to:
- Maintain your account and provide access to enrolled courses
- Send course updates, materials, and important platform notifications
- Process payments and maintain financial records
- Respond to your questions and support requests
- Improve our educational content based on engagement patterns
- Conduct research on corporate finance education trends
- Prevent fraud and maintain platform security
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our rights
We'll occasionally send marketing emails about new courses or features, but you can opt out anytime. Educational updates related to your enrolled programs will still come through since those are essential to your learning.
3 Data Sharing and Third Parties
We work with a handful of trusted partners to run our platform effectively. But we're selective about who gets access to your information and why.
Service Providers We Work With
Our payment processor handles credit card transactions securely. Our email service provider manages course communications. Our hosting partner keeps the platform running smoothly. These companies can only use your data for the specific services they provide to us, and they're bound by confidentiality agreements.
When We Might Share Your Data
- With payment processors to complete your enrollment transactions
- With email service providers to deliver course materials and updates
- With analytics tools to understand platform usage (anonymized when possible)
- With legal authorities if required by Thai law or to protect our rights
- With your explicit consent for specific purposes you've approved
What We Don't Do:
We don't sell your personal information to advertisers. We don't share your email with marketing companies. We don't provide your learning data to employers without your explicit permission.
4 Your Rights Under Thai Law
Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act gives you substantial control over your information. Here's what you can do:
Access and Portability
You can request a copy of all personal data we hold about you. We'll provide it in a commonly used format within 30 days. If you want to transfer your data to another platform, we'll help make that happen.
Correction and Updates
Notice something wrong in your profile? You can update most information directly through your account settings. For changes we need to verify, contact us and we'll sort it out quickly.
Deletion Rights
You can request deletion of your account and associated data. We'll comply unless we have a legal obligation to retain certain information (like financial records for tax purposes). Even then, we'll delete everything we're legally able to remove.
Objection and Restriction
If you believe we're processing your data inappropriately, you can object. You can also ask us to temporarily restrict processing while we investigate your concern. We take these requests seriously and will respond within 30 days.
How to Exercise Your Rights:
Send an email to [email protected] with your request. Include your account email and specify which right you're exercising. We'll verify your identity and respond promptly.
5 Data Security and Protection
We've implemented multiple layers of security to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, or disclosure.
- All data transmissions use industry-standard TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed using modern cryptographic algorithms
- Access to personal data is restricted to authorized staff only
- Regular security audits and penetration testing
- Automated backup systems with encrypted storage
- Staff training on data protection and privacy practices
That said, no online platform is 100% secure. We do our best, but you should also take precautions. Use a strong password, don't share your account credentials, and log out on shared devices.
Breach Notification
In the unlikely event of a data breach affecting your personal information, we'll notify you within 72 hours as required by Thai law. We'll explain what happened, what data was affected, and what steps we're taking to address the situation.
6 Data Retention and Storage
We don't keep your data forever. Our retention periods are based on legal requirements and business needs.
Active Accounts
While your account is active, we maintain your profile, course progress, and learning materials. This allows you to pick up where you left off and access your certificates anytime.
Inactive Accounts
If you haven't logged in for three years, we'll send a reminder email. If there's no response within 90 days, we'll archive your account data. Archived data is stored securely but not readily accessible. After seven years of total inactivity, we delete all personal information except what's required for legal compliance.
Financial Records
Thai tax law requires us to keep financial records for seven years. Payment information and transaction history fall under this requirement. After the retention period expires, these records are permanently deleted.
| Data Category | Retention Period | Reason |
|---|---|---|
| Account Information | Duration of account + 3 years | Service delivery, support |
| Financial Records | 7 years from transaction | Legal compliance (tax law) |
| Course Progress | Duration of account + 5 years | Certificate verification |
| Support Communications | 2 years from last contact | Quality assurance |
7 International Data Transfers
Some of our service providers are based outside Thailand. When we transfer your data internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place.
Our hosting infrastructure operates in data centers that maintain ISO 27001 certification and comply with international data protection standards. We use standard contractual clauses approved by data protection authorities to govern these transfers.
If you're located outside Thailand and use our platform, you acknowledge that your data may be processed in Thailand and other countries where our service providers operate. We maintain the same level of protection regardless of where your data is physically stored.
8 Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies to remember your preferences and improve your experience. Most of these are essential for the platform to function properly.
Essential Cookies
These keep you logged in and remember your course progress. Without them, you'd have to re-enter information constantly. These cookies don't track you across the internet.
Analytics Cookies
We use analytics to understand how people use our platform. This helps us identify confusing navigation patterns or popular resources. The data is aggregated and doesn't identify you personally.
Your Cookie Choices
You can disable non-essential cookies through your browser settings. Keep in mind that this might affect some platform features. Essential cookies are necessary for core functionality and can't be disabled if you want to use the platform.
9 Children's Privacy
Our platform is designed for professional corporate finance education. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18 years old.
If you're under 18, please don't create an account or submit personal information. If we discover we've accidentally collected data from someone under 18, we'll delete it immediately.
Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided information to us should contact [email protected] so we can remove it from our systems.
10 Changes to This Policy
We update this policy occasionally to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. When we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email and post a notice on the platform.
The "Last Updated" date at the top shows when this policy was most recently revised. We encourage you to review it periodically, especially before providing new personal information.
If you disagree with changes to this policy, you can close your account. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect means you accept the updated terms.
11 Complaints and Disputes
If you believe we've mishandled your personal information, please contact us first. We'll investigate and work toward a resolution.
If you're not satisfied with our response, you have the right to file a complaint with Thailand's Personal Data Protection Committee. You can reach them through the Ministry of Digital Economy and Society.
We're committed to resolving privacy concerns promptly and fairly. Most issues can be addressed through direct communication with our team.
